Sub: Apology for Defamatory
Statements Made in Complaint Dated xxxxxxxx.
Dear xxxxxi,
I, xxxxxxxx, holding the
office of xxxxxxxx, at xxxx-xxx, Rohini, Delhi, write this letter to tender my
sincere and unconditional apology for the police complaint dated xx.xx.xxxx,
wherein I made false, frivolous, and baseless allegations against you. I now
realize that the complaint contained scurrilous, derogatory, disparaging,
slanderous, and defamatory statements that were inappropriate and unjustified.
It has come to my understanding that
you, along with other members of the society, attended the society meeting held
on xx.xx.xxxx as a mere spectator, simply by virtue of being a resident of the
society. I fully recognize that you had no active involvement in the matters
discussed during the meeting and, therefore, should not have been subjected to
such defamatory accusations.
I, deeply regret my actions and the
harm caused to your reputation and standing within the society. The statements
made in my complaint were incorrect and without basis, and I take full
responsibility for the distress and inconvenience caused to you. I acknowledge
the damage that my words may have caused, both personally and professionally.
Through this letter, I formally
retract all defamatory remarks made in my complaint dated xx.xx.xxxx or verbal,
and I sincerely apologize for the harm, embarrassment, and stress that you may
have endured as a result. I assure you that I will not make any further
defamatory statements about you in the future and will act responsibly in all
future dealings.
I hope you will accept this apology,
and I genuinely seek your forgiveness for my unfortunate actions. I am
committed to making amends for this regrettable incident and ensuring that such
a situation does not arise again.
Thank you for your understanding.
Yours sincerely,
xxxxxxxxxx
Office at xxxxxxxxx, Delhi.
