Sub: Request for
Exemption of Uniform and Books Cost for Admission Under RTE Act.
Dear
Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My
name is xxxxxxx, and I am the father of xxxxxx, who has been allotted admission
vide Registration No.xxxxxxxxxx for the Session 2024-25 in Class Nursery/Pre-school
at xxxxxxPublic School under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory
Education Act (RTE). This Act mandates private schools to reserve 25% of their
seats for children from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups,
with the state reimbursing the costs as part of the public-private partnership
plan.
While
I am deeply grateful for this opportunity for my child to receive quality
education at your esteemed institution, I must bring to your kind attention our
current financial hardship. My family and I are in a very challenging economic
situation, and we struggle to meet our daily needs. Despite our best efforts to
provide a better future for our child, my income is insufficient to cover the
costs of the school uniform and books as demanded by the school during the
admission process.
The
Right to Education Act is a profound initiative that aims to provide equal
educational opportunities to all children, irrespective of their economic
background. It is within this framework that I earnestly request your kind
intervention. I humbly request you to kindly consider exempting the cost of the
uniform and books for my child. Granting this exemption will ensure that my
child's education is not compromised due to our economic difficulties. Your
support will make a significant difference in our lives and enable my child to
pursue education without any hindrances.
As
per the provisions of the Right to Education Act, it is the responsibility of
the state to ensure that the education of children admitted under this Act is
free of cost. The Act emphasizes that no child should be denied education due
to their inability to pay for these necessities.
I
have attached the admission confirmation under the RTE Act. I kindly request
you to kindly consider the present application and find it in your heart to
grant us this exemption.
Thank
you from the depths of my heart for your understanding and consideration. I am
hopeful for a positive response and am ready to provide any further information
if needed.
Yours
sincerely,
xxxxxxxx
