Introduction

PU – UGLAW exam conducted by Punjab University, is the university-level entrance exam for admission to law degree programs offered by Punjab University, Chandigarh, and its regional centres. Eligibility Criteria:

(Indian Citizen)

Candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC/PwD) from any recognized Board/University. The admission to the said course/s shall be based on the merit of the Entrance Test and 10+2 marks and other admissible weightage. 


(NRI Category)

The students who will be admitted in a course against the NRI quota should have the basic qualification fixed by the respective regulatory body i.e., the Bar Council of India for admission in Law graduate / postgraduate courses. 


The candidates seeking admission to any course must meet the eligibility criteria of that particular course as mentioned on the website of the respective department/Handbook of Information of Panjab University. International students from non-English speaking Countries are required to submit a certificate of IELTS Academic score (at least Band 5) or TOEFL score (at least 60).
