Job Title: Legal Trainee

Job Type: Flexible Internship (Remote)

Compensation: Starting at ?70 per hour, with potential increases based on work quality. Performance bonuses available.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team. This is a flexible internship position with no fixed shift timings; although a minimum number of 3-4 hours each day would be required. No cap on maximum limit, you can work as many hours as you want to but a minimum of 3-4 hours each day would be required. The primary responsibility will be analyzing documents, performing online searches for estate records and making notes for each case. This role requires strong research skills, english writing skills, quick learning ability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive online searches for estate records.
• Analyze and compile findings accurately.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all research and analysis tasks.
• Adhere to deadlines and manage time efficiently.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Maintain accurate time logs using a time tracker.

Requirements:

• Strong research skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written English.
• Basic knowledge of estate matters is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with USA clients or on USA matters is a plus but not required.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
• Honest and accurate time logging.
• Candidates pursuing law degree and law graduates may apply. If you are not a law student or law graduate but have knowledge of probate and estate matters, you may apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting pay is ?70 per hour, with potential increases based on work quality.
• No limit on the number of hours you can work; compensation is based on hours worked and corresponding output. Hence, a person working 8 hours a day can easily make over Rs. 500 per day.
• Performance bonuses based on the quality of work produced.
• Flexible working hours with the option to work on weekends.

• Letter of recommendation if the candidate works excellently.

Probation Period:

• A probation period of 3-4 days will be in place to assess fitness for the role.
• Candidates not meeting the required standards during probation will not be allowed to continue.
