Can additional issues be framed during the trial?

Under Order XIV, Rule 5 of Civil Procedure Code 1908, trial courts have given discretionary powers to frame additional issues before passing a decree, only if it thinks fits and necessary for the case judgement.

Yes, Order XIV which guides Framing of issues, provides for amendment and even framing of additional issues if required under Rule 5 of the act.
