Yes. A woman who is not remarried and is unable to maintain herself can still seek maintenance even if she:
a) Is living separately due to cruelty or abuse
b) Has taken a divorce through mutual consent. In a mutual consent divorce, however, both parties may agree to a one-time settlement and waive future claims.
