Can domestic violence be alleged during or after divorce proceedings?

Yes. The DV Act protects women not just when they are married but also when the relationship has ended. So, if a woman was abused by her husband or in-laws while she was married, she can still file a DV case even after the divorce is final. Also, if the divorce proceedings are going on, and the woman is facing cruelty or harassment during that time, she can file a DV case to seek protection and relief.
