Is the AIBE syllabus fixed or does it change yearly?

The AIBE syllabus is mostly fixed and does not change every year. It is based on important law subjects that every new lawyer should know, such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Contracts, and Professional Ethics. These subjects remain the same because they cover the basic foundation required for legal practice in India.

However, the Bar Council of India can update or add topics whenever needed. This usually happens only when laws change or new areas become important. Any change is announced in the official AIBE notification. So, while the syllabus is stable, small updates may happen occasionally, and candidates should always check the latest notification before preparing.
