About the Job
The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is inviting applications for two Research Assistant positions with the DPIIT IPR Chair. These are full-time, contractual roles for a duration of eight months, based on the NLSIU campus in Bangalore.The DPIIT-IPR Chair at NLSIU, established under the Scheme for Pedagogy & Research in IPRs for Holistic Education and Academia (SPRIHA) by the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is dedicated to research and advocacy in the field of intellectual property rights. As a Research Assistant, you will engage in various research and dissemination activities of the Chair.
Eligibility
A postgraduate degree in law.
A demonstrable academic or research interest in intellectual property.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Desirable
Experience in academia, research, or industry in the field of intellectual property.
An interest in empirical research.
Fieldwork experience.
Skills in quantitative data analysis.
Responsibilities
Conducting literature reviews.
Preparing case studies.
Conducting interviews and surveys.
Preparing research outputs, including academic publications.
Organizing workshops.
Salary
The salary shall be commensurate with experience and as per SPRIHA guidelines of DPIIT.
