About the Opportunity

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented professional to join our Regulatory Advisory and Intermediary Registrations team. The role involves acting as a single-point regulatory specialist, handling complete intermediary registrations and allied licensing matters before SEBI, Stock Exchanges, and other statutory authorities.

This position is execution-heavy and client-facing, requiring sound regulatory judgment, hands-on experience with filings, and regular interaction with regulators.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Intermediary Registration & Licensing

Handling end-to-end registration of SEBI-registered intermediaries, including:

Research Analysts (RA)

Investment Advisers (IA)

Portfolio Management Services (PMS)

Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)

Merchant Bankers, Brokers, RTAs, and other intermediaries

Managing end-to-end membership applications with Stock Exchanges such as BSE, NSE, and MSEI

Conducting eligibility assessments and regulatory gap analysis

Preparing and filing applications, annexures, declarations, undertakings, and supporting documents

Responding to queries, observations, and deficiencies raised by regulators and exchanges

Advisory & Client Interaction

Acting as a client-facing regulatory advisor

Explaining regulatory frameworks, registration categories, conditions, and compliance requirements in a clear manner

Advising clients on suitable registration pathways and structuring optio

Managing client expectations on timelines, documentation, and regulatory risks

Translating complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance

Regulatory Interface & Authority Interaction

Direct interaction with SEBI departments, Stock Exchanges, and other regulatory authorities

Handling formal correspondence, portal-based filings, and follow-ups

Preparing reasoned representations for escalation and resolution of regulatory issues

Eligibility Criteria

CS, LL.B., or NISM-certified professional

1–3 years of relevant experience in regulatory advisory or intermediary registrations

Strong working knowledge of the SEBI intermediary ecosystem

Comfortable working with regulatory and exchange portals

Ability to independently manage multiple registrations simultaneously

Strong drafting, documentation, and representation skills

Commercial awareness while advising clients
