ABOUT JOB:
The Department of Land Resources seeks to engage Young Professionals (YPs) on a contractual basis for physically being present and working on a full-time basis in its offices. They will provide assistance in GIS, Legal, Energy Crops and Spring shed development and various aspects associated with these subjects and other work sectors as assigned from time to time-related to the Department of Land Resources.

Eligibility / Criteria:
1. Name of Post: Young Professional (GIS)
No. of Vacancies: 1
Educational Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Sc./ in Geo informatics/ GIS/ Remote Sensing or Equivalent from a recognized University
Work Experience: Knowledge of web GIS, Satellite data acquisition, processing, digitization, geo-referencing, data analysis, etc.
Specific Task Assigned: Creation of thematic layers of Government & Private Land, change detection & analysis using GIS data to monitor & prevent encroachment on Government / Private Land
2. Name of Post: Young Professional (Legal)
No. of Vacancies: 2
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Work Experience: Experience in Handling Land Regulation & Land Acquisition matters
Specific Task Assigned: Masters related to acts being implemented by Department
3. Name of Post: Young Professional (Energy Crops)
No. of Vacancies: 1
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University
Work Experience in Energy Crops/ Bio-Fuels, Knowledge
Specific Task Assigned: Explore various options & implement cactus cultivation on degraded land
Salary: Rs.70000/- Per Month
