About the Opportunity – Associate (M&A and Private Equity)

The Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice at Saraf and Partners is growing, and we are looking to onboard an Associate with 9 months to 1.5 years of relevant experience.

This role is well-suited for candidates who enjoy working on complex, high-value transactions, thrive in a fast-paced deal environment, and are keen to build strong transactional expertise early in their careers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Work closely with Partners and Senior Associates on a broad range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, investments, exits, and corporate reorganisations.

Assist in legal due diligence exercises, including review and analysis of corporate, commercial, and regulatory documents.

Conduct legal research to support transaction structuring and advisory work.

Prepare and review initial drafts of transaction documents, agreements, and ancillary filings.

Support the team in end-to-end deal execution, coordination, and closing processes.

Assist with general corporate advisory matters as required.

Eligibility Criteria

9 months to 1.5 years of post-qualification or relevant transactional experience.

Prior exposure to legal due diligence, transaction documentation, and corporate research.

Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.

Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills.
