We are looking for a Company Secretary Intern who will support the corporate compliance and governance framework for Skuad group entities across multiple geographies, including South-East Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
This role offers hands-on exposure to global corporate compliance, governance practices, statutory filings, and secretarial operations, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a career in corporate governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Group Corporate Secretary in managing compliance for multiple global entities and international expansion initiatives
Provide company secretarial guidance and compliance support to Boards of Directors and senior leadership
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws, including the Companies Act and relevant local regulations
Support Board meetings, Board Committees, and Independent Directors on statutory and governance matters
Prepare, review, and file statutory documents, reports, and returns as required under law
Review agreements to track and monitor shareholder and corporate obligations
Coordinate with internal teams, statutory auditors, cost auditors, and other external stakeholders
Create and manage data rooms for due diligence exercises, including coordination with internal teams and investors
Track changes in laws and regulatory frameworks and assist in implementing required compliance actions
Support the establishment and maintenance of corporate governance standards, policies, and processes
Eligibility & Skills Required
Reliable, composed, and capable of handling ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high compliance standards
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong accountability
