Exponential Consultants is hiring Non-Litigation Legal Professionals for a reputed client in the housing finance and mortgage sector. This role is ideal for legal professionals with hands-on experience in property due diligence and mortgage loan documentation.

???? Role Overview
The selected professional will handle end-to-end legal work for mortgage loans, including property title verification, legal due diligence, and support in loan approvals. The role requires ensuring compliance with property and mortgage laws across multiple states in India.
???? Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal due diligence of properties proposed for mortgage
Prepare and issue Legal Search Reports (LSR) and Title Search Reports (TSR)
Verify title deeds, sale deeds, agreements, encumbrance certificates, and related documents
Assist in creation of Equitable, Registered, and Extended Mortgages
Handle legal documentation for Pan-India properties
Advise internal teams on stamp duty, registration, and loan documentation
Coordinate with registration offices, external counsel, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with applicable property and mortgage laws
???? Eligibility Criteria
LL.B. from a reputed law college
Experience in Non-Litigation / Business Legal roles
Practical exposure to Mortgage Loans and Property Due Diligence
Strong understanding of property laws and mortgage documentation
Kannada (Read & Write) – Mandatory
⭐ Preferred Skills
Experience in Affordable Housing, Home Loan, or Housing Finance Company (HFC) sector
Working knowledge of stamp duty and registration procedures
Strong analytical, drafting, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple matters under strict timelines
