About the Job
Legal Researcher A legal researcher is a professional who supports legal professionals by conducting in-depth research on legal matters, case laws, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
Responsiblities
Prepare project opening meeting presentations in line with the project plan and conduct initial meetings with clients.
Collaborate closely with the back office team to plan projects according to the requirements of relevant Acts for clients.
Coordinate with teams and clients to create a client location visit plan.
Conduct industry research and determine the applicability of laws.
Perform As-Is analysis and GAP analysis at the client's location.
Discuss compliance requirements with clients and identify relevant users.
Provide training, support, and guidance to clients on the compliance product, Avacom.
Send weekly status reports to clients and maintain project workbooks.
Hold project close-down meetings with clients to obtain sign-offs.
Conduct legal and regulatory compliance audits for clients as needed.
Qualification
LL.B/LL.M/CS qualification.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of the Companies Act and SEBI regulations.
Prior experience in legal compliances (domestic compliance) is essential.
