BI Internship Opportunity Scheme 2024
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) invites applications for its prestigious Law Internship Scheme-2024, aimed at engaging 30 law students from India’s top law universities/institutes. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to work closely with CBI officers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Bangalore, contributing to the agency’s investigative and prosecutorial processes through empirical research and data analysis.
Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the scheme, candidates must:
Be a citizen of India.
Be enrolled in a graduate-level law course at a reputed law university/institute.
For those pursuing a 5-year integrated LLB course, be in or have completed the 8th semester.
For those pursuing a 3-year LLB course, be in or have completed the 4th semester.
Conditions of the Internship
Financial Arrangements: The internship is unpaid, and interns are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Facilities: CBI does not provide medical or other facilities to interns.
Employment: The internship does not guarantee future employment with CBI.
Work Profile: Interns will assist CBI law officers and investigating officers in various tasks such as researching court judgments, preparing court applications, presenting evidence, examining witnesses, trial work, data collection, and other assignments delegated by senior officers.
Oath of Secrecy: Interns must sign an "Oath of Secrecy," binding them to confidentiality during and after the internship.
Duration: The internship will last between 3 to 6 months.
Number of Vacancies:30 interns will be selected across the designated locations.

Recommendation letter from the Principal/HoD endorsing the internship (in .pdf format, up to 2MB)
