About the Organisation
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is an attached office of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It is primarily responsible for the formulation and implementation of the Foreign Trade Policy with the aim of promoting India's exports. The DGFT plays a key role in regulating and facilitating foreign trade by issuing export and import licenses and ensuring compliance with the policy.
Eligibility
Disciplines and Essential Qualifications:
Economics
Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Economics from a recognized university.
Law
Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Law from a recognized university.
Management
Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized university.
Engineering
Essential Qualification:
B. Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
B. Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
B. Tech/BE in IT/Computer Science from a recognized university
Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) from a recognized university
Salary
The engagement of Young Professionals in the Zonal Offices/Regional Authorities (RAs) in the North Zone will be as follows:
- Office of Additional DGFT (CLA), New Delhi: 03 vacancies at ₹60,000 per month.
- RA, Ludhiana: 01 vacancy at ₹56,000 per month.
- RA, Kanpur: 01 vacancy at ₹56,000 per month.
- RA, Srinagar: 01 vacancy at ₹56,000 per month.
